Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded his fifth Ballon d'Or in Paris on Thursday night - finishing top of 30 nominees
Ronaldo was unveiled in a dramatic video which zoomed in on the superstar standing on the Eiffel Tower
Barcelona's Lionel Messi finished as runner-up while Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar came in third place   
Ronaldo was the heavy favourite to win the award and had flown out to the Paris ceremony in his private jet
The 32-year-old is now tied with his rival Messi on five Ballon d'Or awards - the most of any player in history
