He may have been given the cold shoulder by his manager, but Diego Costa is most certainly a wanted man after 2.1million followers responded to a post from the Chelsea striker on Instagram - almost entirely calling for him to join Besiktas.
Blues manager Antonio Conte made clear via a 27-word text message that the Spain international was free to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with the club expected to replace him with Romelu Lukaku.
But with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on the brink of landing his former club's No 1 transfer target, supporters of Turkish champions Besiktas have seen it as an opportune moment to remind Costa that he is more than welcome in Istanbul.
