Harry Kane set to captain England for the first time in World Cup qualifier against Scotland at Hampden Park

Harry Kane will audition for the position as permanent England captain against Scotland on Saturday.

And the England boss has wasted no time in handing Kane the captaincy on a night the striker plays his first game under Southgate.
Kane will be Southgate’s fifth captain in seven games, however the England manager has revealed he does want a permanent skipper despite hinting that he was prepared to do away with the notion of a full-time captain. 
Adam Lallana, Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling and Kane will make up England’s attacking quartet against the Scots tonight, while Eric Dier will play as a holding midfielder.
